Individual Coaching 1-on-1

A confidential safe space to explore any work-related or personal development goals you may have.

For young, emerging and seasoned professionals alike, looking for support on their career journey.

I have supported young adults who are still early in their career, emerging leaders needing support as they contemplate their next big role, as well as seasoned professionals and experts in their field, and would love to support you on your journey.

I offer career coaching, personal development coaching, transition coaching, and burnout prevention.

Whether you aim to grow in your existing role, prepare for your next role, manage conflicting roles you hold, or wish to strike a better work-life balance, our work together will centre around your whole person, so that you can achieve your goals in balance with everything else that’s going on for you.

For examples of topics I have tackled with clients in the past, check the “more details” tab.

Examples of topics I have tackled with clients in the past include:

    • You are about to start a new professional step, or are re-entering the workforce after a longer break, and need support as you navigate this initial phase.
    • You are an emerging leader, ready for that next big role, and need support as you plan for that shift, including polishing some of your soft skills.
    • You just became a parent or are going through a major transition phase in your personal life, and are struggling finding a balance between the different roles you have to play at work and at home.
    • Your position has been made redundant, and you are not sure what to do next, or how to make the best out of the situation.
    • You find yourself tired or on edge most of the time, and sense that you need to start making some significant changes in your life.
    • You are recovering from a burnout, and need a partner with whom you can think through your next steps.
    • You are feeling replenished, yet mindful of the fact that your current lifestyle is not sustainable on the long run, and need support as your reconsider your priorities.

Having held leadership and expert positions, gone through numerous career transitions myself, including a burnout, I get it! I’ll accompany you as we untangle those exciting opportunities and equally messy threads that lie ahead, so you can find a steady path forward and thrive in what you do.

      Executive Coaching 1-on-1

A confidential safe space to talk through the things that keep you awake at night.

For executives, senior executives, and emerging leaders.

Together, we will explore the resources at your disposal, including your own creativity, and the support mechanisms around you, to help you manage whatever it is you are facing. For examples of topics I have tackled with clients in the past, check the “more details” tab.

Leadership can be both an exhilarating and a lonely, at times confusing, experience.

There are so many demands being made of you as leaders today, and that makes me wonder: are they all realistic? Are you being equipped for success? Are you being provided with the support you need? Are your allowed to be you, a beautifully imperfect human being?

Examples of topics I have tackled with clients in the past include:

      • You stand in front of a difficult decision(s) – be it business or people related – and are not sure which path to choose.
      • You are wondering what leadership style would be best suited for dealing with the opportunities or challenges you, your team, or your organisation is facing.
      • You have been given conflicting feedback about your leadership style or business results, and are not sure what to make of it all.

In our coaching, we will explore what keeps you up at night as a leader, and help you explore the resources at your disposal, including your own creativity, and the support mechanisms around you, to help you manage whatever it is you are facing.

Together, we will dig deep into the issues you are facing, and uncover what truly matters to you. My hope is that, at the end of our coaching together, you will feel much more connected to who you truly are, and as such, feel much more connected to those you lead and support.

      CliftonStrengths Team Coaching

Improve your team’s performance by harnessing each member’s natural talents and strengths.

In team coaching, I work with organisational, project, cross-functional, and/or intact teams.

Using Gallup’s CliftonStrengths online assessment tool, I specialise in Strengths-based Team Development Coaching, so that teams recognise, own, and leverage the diverse strengths within their team for the benefit of their own team’s performance and wider organisational impact. Team sessions are always bespoke to fit your team’s specific situation and needs.

I specialise in Strengths-based Team Development Coaching and work with organisational project, cross-functional and intact teams.

My team strengths coaching offerings are always bespoke, and tailored to fit your team’s specific situation and needs. Having said that, I am often asked about what a “possible scenario” could look like – so here it is.

Possible scenario for a Strengths-based Team Development Coaching

      1. The process always starts with a briefing with the team leader, and if needed the sponsor, to understand the team’s context and goal of coaching intervention. This is also when we assess if a strengths-based team coaching is the right intervention for the team.
      2. Based on the briefing, a bespoke coaching package proposal is made for the leader to review and share with his/her team members to get buy-in from them that they are willing to take that journey. If need be, the coach may be invited to a team session, to answer any questions or concerns the team may have.
      3. Every team member, including leader, take the CliftonStrengths assessment online.
      4. In an ideal world, and if using the full 34 strengths report, this is followed by a 1:1 coaching session for each team member, incl. leader, where we explore the person’s individual report in depth, to make sure they fully understand and own the results of their report. This is a crucial step in my view to ensure psychological safety and a smooth running of the team workshops later on.
      5.  If 1:1 sessions are not possible, we would hold an online group Q&A session instead where members can ask questions about their themes and test results.
      6. Once the 1:1 / Q&A sessions have taken place, the team workshop(s) can take place. The length, frequency and specific content of these is always very different depending on the team’s size, context and goals.

PS: PS: Such a CliftonStrengths team workshop can be very nicely combined with a New Manager Integration session.

If you wish to learn more about my strengths team coaching work, and if I’m the right coach for you, please write me via the Contact form or via e-mail. I look forward to connecting with you.

      New Manager Integration

Gift yourself  and your team a successful head-start together, fostering openness and dialogue.

Whether you are new to the company, team, or role, this is a powerful way to relate to your team!

Just joined a new company as people manager?
Familiar with the company, but just joined a new team as people manager?
Familiar with company & team, but just been promoted to the manager role?
Taking over a team after a recent re-organisation?

This intervention is a great way for you and your team to get-to-know each other better, clarify assumptions, maybe even misunderstandings, and needs, while building stronger relationships in the process.

      What is it about

The purpose of a New Manager Integration session is to enable the team leader to quickly and effectively integrate into their new function through the use of a structured process.

Typically, in a standard team building session, one might go about clarifying roles and expectations of the team and manager. However, such sessions, while useful, can feel somewhat “theoretical”. The New Manager Integration session goes beyond that standard practice by allowing the manager and the team to explore specific function and business-related challenges the new manager/leader is likely to face.

Ideally, the integration session would take place 2 to 3 months after the manager has assumed their role, so that there has been enough interactions between the team and their leader.

      Possible outcomes

      Deeper & meaninguful relationships through:

      • Establishing an atmosphere for open and honest dialogue.
      • Providing the manager with a view into the expectations of their team members, preferences for communication, and dynamics of the organisation.
      • Helping to ensure the manager is focused on the right priorities and issues.
      • Identifying organisational problems or obstacles that the manager is likely to encounter.
      • Providing team members with a structured and efficient mechanism to get to know their manager.
      • Creating a forum where hopes, fears, and concerns are expressed early and can be addressed appropriately and consistently, lessening the opportunity for “rumors”, misperceptions, and misunderstandings.

Possible scenario for a New Manager Integration workshop

      1. Every New Manager Integration starts with a briefing with the team leader, and the sponsor if needed, to clarify the organisational, team, and individual context for the intervention, and desired outcome(s). This is also when we assess if a New Manager Integration session is the right intervention for you and your team.
      2. Once the session is agreed, a preparatory meeting is held between the Coach and the Manager to explain the process, review the session’s set-up, and share with them a list of questions to choose from to get feedback from the team.
      3. In the session itself, we would start all together with a fun team activity to get to know each other better.
      4. After that, the team leader leaves the room (physical or virtual), and the Coach goes through the questions the team leader has picked in advance of the session, to ask team, collect the answers and group them in themes. The Manager may also choose to share the questions with their team in advance of the session, and invite them to reflect about further questions they would like to include.
      5. The team leader then rejoins the team, and team members present the themes discussed.  The Coach may complement the themes if needed.
      6. The team leader then has the opportunity to either ask the team clarification questions, answer or comment on what the team has shared, or ask 1-2 follow-up questions.
      7. A follow-up session between Coach and manager usually takes place shortly after the session to go through additional comments, thoughts, and insights from the session, and review next steps.

PS: Such a New Manager Integration session can be very nicely combined with a CliftonStrengths team workshop

      Employee Engagement

Improve your team’s level of engagement, and thus performance, one relationship at a time.

Leaders who wish to improve their team’s level of engagement, satisfaction & performance.

Engagement boils down to relationships! Namely, the employee’s relationship with:

      • you – their leader,
      • their team members and other “significant others” at work,
      • the work they do,
      • the organisation they are part of.

And because emotions are at the core of human behaviours, you can’t increase your employee’s engagement without tackling their (and your) emotional relationship needs.

      What is it about

There are many ways to assess and increase employee engagement.

The first one that usually springs to mind is to “run a survey”. And while surveys have their place, they cannot be used in isolation! AND, the good news is that you don’t have to run a big, fancy, expensive survey to improve employee engagement.

Key in employee engagement is the manager’s own sense of motivation and engagement, as well as the manager’s and their team members’ openness and willingness to explore the nature of their relationships to each other and to the work they do.

Possible scenario for an Employee Engagement intervention

      1. The process starts with a briefing with the team leader, and the sponsor if needed, to clarify the organisational, team, and individual context for the intervention, and desired outcome(s). This is also when we assess if an Employee Engagement intervention is the right thing for you and your team.
      2. Once the intervention is agreed, a preparatory meeting is held between the Coach and the Manager to explain the process, review the sessions’ set-up, and agree next steps.
      3. The intervention itself typically takes place over 3 sessions of 4 hours each
      4. Session 1 focuses on the level of engagement within the leadership team (LT) itself, including the LT members’ own personal motivation to focus on Employee Engagement.
      5. Session 2 focuses on a high-level review of any existing Employee Engagement survey results (should you have any), and on preparing managers to run a State of the Team conversation with their team(s) by experiencing one with the Coach.
      6. Session 3 takes place after the managers have had their State of the team conversation with their respective team, to share feedback/challenges, help them refine their personal and team’s engagement goals (if needed), define a plan for how to keep engagement conversations going all year long, and create a shared accountability goal among all leaders for sustainability of their employee engagement efforts.
      7. A follow-up session between Coach and manager takes place 3-4 weeks after session 3 to reveiw feedback, learnings, challenges, and next steps.

      Team Burnout Prevention

Resilience is a communal effort! Foster a culture of balance and good health in your team.

Do more with less! Work smarter – not harder! Build your own resilience!

Do any of these sound familiar?

In an organisational setting, such maximes, while well-intentioned, only place undue pressure on both managers and their team members, and risk to drive them even more onto the path of ill-being and burnout.

Unlike popular belief, burnout prevention and resilience is not an individual journey, it’s a communal one! And I am here to support you and your team, so you can help each other achieve, while staying healthy and connected.

Having recovered from a burnout myself, and supported numerous employees on their own burnout prevention and recovery journey, I know how hard it can be to be in that space, and how having a community of people who can support each other when the going gets rough is of utmost importance.

Coaching is not therapy. But it can be a very helpful preventative approach for burnout.

In a Team Burnout Prevention workshop, we look at what burnout is (and isn’t), and focus on the organisational, team, and individual factors which may lead you towards or away from burnout. We also look at the resources available to the team and its members to support each other, encourage each other, and take the steps they need to replenish that energy well of theirs.

      What Makes This Training Different?

      • Many organisations are encouraging their leaders and people managers to act as coaches for their team members, and to attend coaching training programmes. However, few of these programmes tackle the inherent tensions and polarities that arise for leaders who try to “be a coach”.
      • Here’s the truth: I don’t believe managers can be “coaches” in the purest sense of the word. But I do wholeheartedly believe that managers who master coaching skills become far more effective and trusted leaders. They can build stronger, deeper relationships with their team — creating a culture of trust, collaboration, and growth.
      • The Gestalt approach focuses on the real dynamics that arise between managers and employees — acknowledging the power dynamic that exists, while also fostering authentic, two-way relationships.

How is the training set up?

      • The sessions are hands-on — designed to give you the space and support to practice and master Gestalt coaching skills. No matter your experience level, you’ll get practical tools and the opportunity to reflect on how to use coaching techniques in a way that feels true to you.
      • The training is offered in modules:
        • Essentials in coaching skills: So that those who have no experience with coaching can discover what coaching is, and have a safe learning space at their disposal to practice, get feedback, and grow in confidence in coaching.
        • Deepening your coaching skills using the power of use of self: So that those with coaching experience discover new powerful ways to relate to their coachee, and effect positive change.

10 Practice Lab sessions! 20 hours of practice!

I offer 10 Gestalt Coaching Practice lab sessions – each one focusing on a different aspect of Gestalt and use of self.  Every lab session has a specific Gestalt theme, which will act as the spring board for exploration, experimentation, and practice.

      • In these labs, you will experience, experiment, practice, and exchange around Gestalt Coaching principles and ways of being as a coach.
      • They might include short inputs, demonstrations, personal experimentation, practice rounds in pairs or triads incl. feedback, and facilitated discussions.
      • We meet for 2 hours each time, working with those topics, questions, or “Gestalt” that are present in the room.

      Overall learning outcome:

      • A deeper understanding of what it means to “be” a coach vs. “doing” coaching, having explored and practiced aspects of use of self as a coach, through a Gestalt coaching lens.
      • A practical and experiential experience and practice of a specific Gestalt skill and way of being, across each of the 10 lab sessions.
      • Gain a sense of community, having exchanged with and learned from fellow participants.

I offer 10 practice lab sessions – each one focusing on a different aspect of Gestalt and use of self.

      1. Lab 1 – Awareness. This is a foundation lab session, and is a pre-requisite to sign-up to any of the other lab sessions (modules 2-9)
      2. Lab 2 – Exaggeration & Repetition
      3. Lab 3 – Perceptual resonance
      4. Lab 4 – Cognitive resonance
      5. Lab 5 – Somatic resonance
      6. Lab 6 – Levels of intensity
      7. Lab 7 – Projections & Creative experimentation
      8. Lab 8 – Polarities
      9. Lab 9 – Empty chair
      10. Lab 10 – Bringing it all together. This session brings all you have learned across all 9 lab sessions together for a final 120 min. pure practice. You may only book this session if you have attended all previous 9 labs at some point in time.

My goal is to make each lab session as experiential as possible, so that you may, if you wish, apply those skills with your own clients, and witness the difference it makes for them and your own personal development as a coach.

NB: This is NOT a Gestalt training course, but an opportunity to explore and practice Gestalt coaching principles and way of being. If you are looking for a training course, I highly recommend John Leary-Joyce’s trainings. And if in doubt, reach out

What my clients say about working with me

      |

"Dina is an absolutely outstanding coach and collaborator. I had the pleasure of working with Dina over several months when she served as a StrenghtFinder coach to my team. Her thoughtful guidance, support, and insights were instrumental for our growth as a newly formed team. Because of Dina's work, we were able to make great strides in increasing connectedness and maximizing the impact of our collective efforts. After assessing our needs, Dina went above and beyond to build tailored individual and group sessions that were incredibly effective for achieving our goals. In addition to her deep knowledge, Dina's warmth and joyful demeanor make her an absolute delight to work with. She's truly one of the best team coaches I've worked with over the past ten years. I whole-heartedly recommend Dina, and can't wait for the opportunity to collaborate with her again."

Eydith Comenenzia Ortiz – Founder & CEO, CONECTA Partners – Team Strengths Coaching

Dina actively listens to her clients and tailors the programs to create the best value and impact for the team. Her sessions helped us to be a stronger team - and we continued to keep her as our coach as she showed great value. Also, Dina has a great talent in connecting with people and maintaining relationships. I can only highly recommend Dina and believe she will be a great asset to any team."

Dina offered 1:1 coaching sessions and was a creative partner in designing a fit-for-purpose workshop. Dina was a creative partner looking for the best solution for our setting, the workshop was very well received and had a lasting impact on our team."

S.H. – Participant in Group Coaching session: “Time for a career change. Now what?”

"In large parts, the workshop felt - in a positive way - like group therapy. Meeting like-minded people who face similar challenges like my own was a true eye-opener to me. Not only did I get useful tips out of the conversations, the entire setup of the group helped me to realise that other people faced similar struggles, insecurities and motivations along their individual paths towards career-change and personal re-invention. In addition, my own contributions to the group might've even been helpful to some of the others as well. I left with my mind in a somewhat calmed state of contentment and a positive attitude towards my future, together with a number of additional contacts of interesting people I would otherwise have never met."

Participant in Group Coaching session: “Time for a career change. Now what?”

"Dina was a great facilitator! Authentic, helpful and lots of expertise and experience to share with the participants - many thanks for this workshop offering!"

Wow, I am always inspired by people like you, and after meeting this kind of people, I have a smile on my face that last the whole day. I wish you all the best for the future!
