This is Strengths-based Team Development Coaching for organisational, project, cross-functional and intact teams.
Using Gallupâs CliftonStrengths online assessment tool, teams can start to recognise, own, and leverage the diverse strengths within their team.
Team sessions are always bespoke to fit your teamâs specific situation and needs.
Here is an example of what Strengths-based Team Development Coaching can look like:
1. Initial Briefing
We start with a briefing with you as the team leader (and sponsor if needed) to understand the teamâs context and goal of coaching intervention. Weâll also assess if a strengths-based team coaching is the right fit.
2. Proposal & Buy-in
A bespoke coaching package proposal is made for you to review and share with your team members to see if they are willing to take that journey. If helpful, I can attend a session to answer team questions and build buy-in.
3. CliftonStrengths Assessment
Every team member, including you, gets to take the CliftonStrengths assessment online.
4. Q&A
We hold an online introductory Q&A group session where we explore key strengths principles and guidelines, and where team members can ask questions about their themes and test results.
5. 1:1 Coaching Sessions
(Optional but recommended, especially if using the full 34-report.) Each team member, including you, has a dedicated 1:1 session to make sure everyone fully understands and owns their assessment results. This is crucial for ensuring psychological safety in the team workshops later on.
6. Team Workshops
Once the 1:1 / Q&A sessions have taken place, we hold the team workshop(s). The length, frequency and specific content of these is always very different depending on your teamâs size, context and goals.

New Manager Integration

Whether you are new to the company, team, or role, this is a powerful way to integrate quickly and effectively.
Unlike traditional team-building, this session dives into real business challenges a manager is likely to face, ensuring a smooth transition.
Ideally held 2-3 months in your new position, this intervention is a great way for you and your team to get-to-know each other better, clarify assumptions, maybe even misunderstandings, and needs, while building stronger relationships in the process.
Here is an example of what a New Manager Integration workshop can look like:

2. Workshop
Workshops can range from a 4-hour session to a multi-day intervention. The goal: create a foundation of open and honest dialogue between you and your team.
Part 1âConnect & Reflect: The session itself would start with a fun team activity to get to know each other better. After that, you leave the room (physical or virtual), and Iâll go through the prepared questions with the team, collect the answers, and group them in themes.
Part 2âTeam-to-Manager Feedback: You rejoin the session to hear the key themes directly from the team, ask clarification questions, and share responses or reflections.
Weâll surface hopes, fears, concerns, and potential roadblocks early, so they can be talked about openly and dealt with before rumors or misunderstandings take root. This will help you focus on the right priorities and issues, with a clearer view into the expectations of your team members.   Â
3. Follow-up
A follow-up session between you and I is held shortly after to go through additional comments and thoughts, debrief key takeaways, and identify next steps.

Engagement boils down to relationships! Namely, the employeeâs relationship with: you â their leader, their team members, the work they do, and the organisation they are part of.

What really matters is your willingness (and your teamâs) to explore the nature of your relationships to each other and to the work you do. And your own engagement is one of the strongest signals you can send.
Here is an example of what an Employee Engagement Intervention can look like:
We start with a briefing with you as the team leader (and the sponsor if needed) to clarify context and desired outcomes, and to assess whether this is the right fit for your team.
If it is, weâll set up a preparatory session where Iâll walk you through the process, go over the session format, and agree on next steps together.
The intervention usually takes place over 3 sessions of 4 hours each:

Team Burnout Prevention
Resilience is a communal effort! Foster a culture of balance and good health in your team.

In a Team Burnout Prevention workshop, we look at what burnout is (and isnât), and focus on the organisational, team, and individual factors which may lead you towards or away from burnout.
We also look at the resources available to the team and its members to support each other, encourage each other, and take the steps they need to replenish that energy well of theirs.
Having recovered from a burnout myself and supported numerous employees on their own burnout prevention and recovery journey, I know how hard it can be in that space, and how having a community of people who can support each other when the going gets rough is of utmost importance.

How is the training set up?
The sessions are hands-on to give you space to practice and master Gestalt coaching skills, with practical tools and reflection, no matter your experience level.
The training is offered in three modules:
- Coaching skill essentials: For those new to coaching to learn core coaching skills in a safe, supportive space.
- The power of âuse of selfâ in coaching: For those with coaching experience to discover powerful ways to relate to their coachees and strengthen their impact through use of self.
- Navigating tensions in the managerâcoach dual role: For participants to explore manager/subordinate power dynamics and how to find their own personal path forward.

I bring over 24 years of experience in HR, coaching, and mentoring, including 7 years dedicated specifically to coaching, a Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge, have an Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Gestalt Coaching taught by Gestalt leading expert John Leary-Joyce.
This training will give you the practical skills, confidence, and support to make a real difference in your organisation.

I offer differentiated pricingâcorporate clients pay market rates, while private clients paying out of pocket and NGOs receive adjusted rates.
Any additional fees due to client needs or requests (like travel, document review, or sessions outside regular hours) will always be defined and agreed with client prior to the session.

This experiential & non-traditional style of coaching gives you the skills to boldlyâand safelyâshow up as your true self for your coachees.
10 Practice Lab sessions. Up to 30 hours of practice.
Each 3-hour Lab session focuses on a different aspect of Gestalt and use of self.
Each Lab dives into a specific Gestalt theme, which will act as the spring board for exploration, experimentation, and practice.
In each lab, youâll be immersed in Gestalt Coaching principles through demos, personal experimentation, small-group practice (with feedback), and facilitated discussions. We also work with real-time topics, questions, or âGestaltâ that arise in the room.
Overall learning outcomes:
- A deeper understanding of what it means to be a coach (beyond just doing coaching), through practice and exploration of âuse of selfâ with a Gestalt coaching lens.
- Hands-on experience with each Gestalt skill and way of being across each of the 10 lab sessions, helping you apply what you learn and real coaching contexts.
- A sense of community through shared learning and exchange with fellow participants.
My goal is to make each lab session as experiential as possible, so that you may, if you wish, apply those skills with your own clients, and witness the difference it makes for them and your own personal development as a coach.

What to expect from every lab
â„ You will experience, experiment, practice, and exchange around Gestalt Coaching principles and ways of being as a coach.
â„ They might include short inputs, demonstrations, personal experimentation, practice rounds in pairs or triads incl. feedback, and facilitated discussions.
â„ We meet for 2 hours each time, working with those topics, questions, or âGestaltâ that are present in the room.
Lab 1 â Awareness
This is a foundation lab session and a pre-requisite to attending any of the other lab modules. In this lab,
- we introduce the term âGestaltâ and some of its underpinnings, incl. the concepts of Figure, Ground, and Gestalt cycle;
- we explore 4 key principles of Gestalt, why awareness is so central to Gestalt, and the different dimensions of awareness;
- you experience awareness through a couple of exercises.
Each subsequent lab (2-9) will then explore a different dimension of awareness through the practice of a specific Gestalt skill.
Lab 2 â Perceptual resonance
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice perceptual resonance (i.e. sharing what you notice through your 5 senses), and how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness.
Lab 3 â Cognitive resonance
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice cognitive resonance (i.e. sharing what you think), and how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness.
Lab 4 â Somatic resonance
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice somatic resonance (i.e. sharing what you feel emotionally or physically), and how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness.
Lab 5 â Exaggeration & Repetition
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice the use of exaggeration (of gestures, posture, etc.) and repetition (of words, sounds, sentences, gestures, etc.) to expand the clientâs awareness.
Lab 6 â Levels of intensity
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice the 4 levels of intensity when exploring the clientâs story, and how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness.
Lab 7 â Projections & Creative experimentation
In this lab, we introduce the concept of projections and creative experimentation, and you experiment with and practice it with the help of objects and/or images, and how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness.
Lab 8 â Polarities
In this lab, you will experiment with and practice how you can use projections and experimentation to explore polarities and the range within a clientâs dilemna. Purpose, as always, is to impactfully enhance the clientâs awareness.
Pre-requisite: Lab 7 âProjections & Creative experimentation.
Lab 9 â Empty chair
In this lab, we introduce the concept of the empty chair, and you experiment with and practice how you can use it impactfully as a coach to enhance the clientâs awareness, especially in situations of interpersonal conflict.Â
Pre-requisite: Lab 7 â  Projections & Creative experimentation.
Lab 10 â Bringing it all together
This session brings all of your learning across all 9 labs together for a final 120 min. of pure practice.
Pre-requisite: Only participants who have attended all 9 labs may book this session.Â
